9th April 2015 - Help us win a share of £20,000

We have registered for the Shropshire Star ‘Cash for Your Community’ Scheme in the hope of winning a share of £20,000 towards our work. To do this we need to collect a minimum of 500 tokens which will be printed in the Shropshire Star between Thursday 16th April and Saturday 23rd May.
If you take the Shropshire Star please would you collect tokens for us or bring your old papers into the office at the Roy Fletcher Centre. Please also ask any friends, work colleagues or family to collect on our behalf. We will need at least 14 people collecting for us, but the more we collect the bigger our share of the prize will be. Thank you!

6th March 2015 - New Counselling Service for Wellington

We have launched a new counselling service for the residents of Wellington at the Glebe Centre, in Glebe Street. Our team of professionally qualified counsellors currently see people at the Roy Fletcher Centre in Shrewsbury and in Madeley, to help support them through counselling to identify and explore options for change, or develop better ways of coping.

The service has been set up so that the people of Wellington can access the help they need more easily. Services offered include the low fee counselling service which ensures that everyone can get the help they need. Also on offer is the Fast Track Service which ensures that people can be seen for counselling quickly.

4th March 2015 - We have a new Facebook page

We have a new Facebook page. You can find it at https://www.facebook.com/confidecounselling. Please do have a look and if you have a Facebook account give us a 'Like'. It would be great if you could ask your followers to 'Like' the page too.

9th January 2015 - Service Accreditation Renewal

We have had some very good news! We have heard this week that our application to renew our BACP service accreditation has been successful and so our accredited status will last until November 2018.

Service accreditation with the BACP provides robust evidence of service performance, safety and professionalism and we are still the only counselling organisation in Shropshire to have this quality mark.

In summing up the BACP assessor commented ‘This is a professional and forward looking service that must be a valuable resource to its local community’.
