Employee Counselling

Stress, anxiety and depression are now the number one cause of staff absence in the UK. Experience tells us that people seek counselling through their employer either because there are difficulties at home which are affecting their work performance or because there are difficulties at work which are affecting their home life. Whatever the cause of the difficulties, the sooner they are addressed the easier it is to resolve the problems. Our Employee Counselling Service is designed to ensure that staff can access counselling quickly when they need it.

Our thorough assessment process ensures that your staff will be offered an approach that meets their individual needs. As well as helping with anxiety and depression using a Solution Focussed Brief Therapy approach, our team of counsellors are experienced in offering stress management solutions and dealing with trauma.

We can design a bespoke, managed counselling service to suit your organisations needs or you can refer staff to us on an ad-hoc basis.

We also accept referrals from Employee Assistance Programmes.

Mental Wellbeing MOT - Business

People are your most valuable asset and their mental wellbeing is critical for your organisation. The Mental Wellbeing MOT offers a preventative approach to wellbeing for your key staff to ensure that they can perform to their potential. The MOT is conducted privately and confidentially at a time to suit and can be held either in the workplace or at our offices.

The comprehensive assessment offers the opportunity for a focussed reflection on:

  • Work-life balance including the demands made by our roles within the workplace and at home.
  • Our ability to cope with difficult feelings, conflict, change and relationships in the workplace
  • How we manage our time, relax and find fulfilment.

The assessment highlights potential risk areas and strategies are suggested to help improve or maintain mental wellbeing.

Following the meeting, a confidential report summarising the key points is sent to the participant’s home address.
